  • Has wined the Golden award at "the second meeting for Arab/European photographers" Hamburg 2005

  • Member of the Syrian Geographical Society.
    Has written, together with the historian Mr. Ahmad Ibesh, a research (Environmental, Historical, Geographical, Archeological etc), under the title of "Rediscovering of Syria".
    The first series of this Encyclopedia is titled "The Syrian Country". Till now, 8 volumes are ready, covering the countryside of Damascus.
